I am licensed in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy in the state of California, license number MFC# 53835. I graduated with a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. I utilize CBT and Solution Focused techniques, as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy in my practice, and was was trained by Sonoma Psychotherapy Training Institute.

I  place importance on being respectful, approachable, sensitive, and direct. In therapy, I think it is important to focus on both previous and present experiences. Looking back at your history can help us better understand what sets of beliefs you have about yourself and the world around you, and also how these powerful beliefs may be hindering your personal satisfaction and success.

My primary focus includes: communication, intimacy, body image, shame regarding sexuality, negotiating relationships, sexual and gender variance, relationship issues, blended families, and self worth, in a safe and validating environment.  I work with children, teens, adult individuals, and couples/ partners.
