Hi, I'm Cynthia.  I'm a therapist who sparks change in people's day to day lives and their relationships.

I am licensed in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy in the state of California, license number MFC# 53835. I graduated with a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. I utilize CBT and Solution Focused techniques, as well as a Somatic approach and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I place importance on being respectful and approachable. In therapy, it's important to focus on both previous and present experiences. Looking back at your history can help us better understand what sets of beliefs you have about yourself and the world around you, and also how these powerful beliefs may be hindering your personal satisfaction and success.

My primary focus includes: relationships, communication, self worth, overcoming past stressors or limiting beliefs, chronic pain, intimacy, and sexuality, in a safe and validating environment.  Feel free to explore the next step by calling or texting me at 408-930-1220, or emailing me at chaartmanmft@gmail.com
